Employment Type: Seasonal Casual
Compensation: In accordance with the General Retail Industry Award (2010)
Terms: Winter 2020 Seasonal position
Your new role
As a Ski or Snowboard Technician at our Smiggin Holes store, you will be bubbly, friendly and technologically savvy with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a customer-facing role.
The stuff we want from you
Customer-focussed ski and snowboard rental technicians that love the snow, our mountains, and your customers.
Ideally we are looking for staff with experience in both ski and board rental set-up.
Experience in one area of rental set up is a must but you need to be willing to train and work both areas if you don’t have both skill-sets.
Self-motivated – you see the stuff that needs to be done and do it without waiting to be asked.
Sweet moves in case we decide to have a flash mob one day.
Someone that can cook because we’re all sick of eating 2 minute noodles.
The stuff you’ll want to know
Located within the Perisher resort, on-site accommodation may be available for a fee.
Rates of pay are in accordance with the General Retail Industry Award (2010).
You will be required to work approximately 40 hours per week, leaving you plenty of time to get out on the mountain and do what we all love.
We like the occasional sunrise hike and ride so BYO thermos and snacks.
We’re pretty chilled. If you don’t work then neither will we. But seriously, don’t bother applying – someone has to do something while we’re out riding.
